Who we support

Acquired Brain Injury Specialists. Our team of dedicated professionals specialises in acquired brain injury care. We understand the challenges and complexities that come with this condition, and we are here to support both residents and their families throughout the journey to recovery.

What support we provide

Short-Term Rehabilitation If you're seeking short-term rehabilitation, Oakwood is the ideal choice. Our dedicated rehabilitation team is here to help you or your loved one regain confidence and skills, empowering you to transition back to your daily life. Our rehabilitation packages can include: • Support to access funding for equipment such as Eyegaze and SaeboFlex • Access to assistive technology • Access to services for hydrotherapy and adapted treadmill sessions • Strategies to aid your communication and reduce frustration • Support and assessment using neuro-rehabilitation assessment tools • Individual support to maximise your independence • Support family members to better understand brain injuries • Support for budgeting, menu planning and food preparation.
