Annual report 2024/25

Our annual report details how we lead by example to empower people to live their lives as freely as they choose. 

At Leonard Cheshire, we believe in a fair world in which disabled people have the same equal opportunities and choices as non-disabled people. We fight for disabled people’s rights, working with our partners to deliver support and life-changing programmes.

Care and support

In 2024/25, 1,050 people were supported  every day through our care and supported living services.

Fundraising

On 27 April 2025, 54 runners hit the streets of London for us at the 45th edition of the London Marathon. Together they raised more than £110,000 for our work.

Work

In 2024/25 we worked with employers to arrange 131 internships. These placements were at organisations such as the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), BBC, NHS, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Coca-Cola and Louis Vuitton.
