Who we support
Our experience dedicated staff at the Manor can support a variety of different needs. We support people with physical disabilities, brain acquired injuries, strokes, cerebral parsley, spina bifida and learning disabilities.
I pretty much can do my own thing; I'm independent living and I have been able to find some work with help via a member of staff. I use to not engage or socialise much with the other residents or staff members, but lately there's more for us all to do here so I am over a lot more. I enjoy helping out with the activities as I'm one of the more able residents here, I enjoy helping them when I can and making sure things are set up etc: bingo cards are handed out. When I'm able to engage and help it makes me feel useful.
