That’s why each Leonard Cheshire home is unique, and provides the support that’s right for the people who live there. Personalised support helps to make sure everyone can live as independently as they choose.

In Timsbury in Somerset, Greenhill House is home to 37 adults with physical disabilities. We have extensive grounds and we’re within walking distance from a community hall, a newsagent and several pubs.

We’re home to England’s registered boccia club, a Paralympic sport similar to boules specifically developed for disabled people to play. It’s good fun and great exercise, and we play in leagues and competitions.

This is a safe and friendly place to live, with high quality care and nursing. The team is dedicated and experienced and will make sure your needs are understood and met – all with the greatest privacy and respect.

We have a dynamic and enthusiastic on-site physiotherapy team, with regular exercise groups, access to hydrotherapy, and tailored individual exercise plans aimed at maximising residents’ potential.

There’s something for everyone and our great team of staff and volunteers run individual and group activities, including independent living training. So whatever your interests, from keeping fit to being creative, there’s always something to get involved in.
